A classic work of Islamic law by Ibn Rushd (Averroes) in one large book, 'The Distinguished Jurist's Primer' is an authoritative manual of Islamic Law. Ibn Rushd followed the Maliki school but in this work he presented the views of all five great schools (Maliki, Hanifi, Shafi'i, Hanbali, and Zahiri) with respect and objectivity.
