«A Trip to the Arabian Peninsula and to Other Neighboring Countries». A translation of the famous work «Reisebeschreibung nach Arabien und andern umliegender Ländern» by German explorer and cartographer Karsten Niebuhr (1733-1815), known for his participation in the Royal Danish Arabic Expedition (1761-1767). He documented the expedition with descriptions and maps, creating an impressive 18th century record of the region and the expedition.
