Two volume biography of the second caliph of Muslims. He was known by Jews and Christians as the «Great» because of his establishment of religious freedoms through the Islamic Caliphate. In a well documented story he was known to help Jews resettle in Jerusalem and Palestine after Christians had expelled them.
