«Ya Hala! My First Steps Level 4» is a textbook series teaching Arabic to non-native speakers at primary school level. The course is divided into five parts and includes: a student book, a workbook, and an online code. There is a total of 5 learning units, each covering two lessons and one assessment-sheet.

The series aims to help beginner learners acquire basic linguistic skills in Arabic: oral communication, reading comprehension, and writing. Through the topics used in the books, students can first learn how to use common words and expressions in Arabic, and then move on to learning how to use simple sentences spoken in everyday life.
